Outsourcing – Don’t be an Army of One

group activeMost Americans hate to hear the word “outsourcing” ,it comes with negative connotations. It means Americans losing their jobs to people in other countries, Outsourcing – Don’t be an Army of One that will to do the same job for cheaper. A lot of people go as far as to say, that it’s ruining the economy in America. The fact of the matter is, outsourcing and automation has been around since the beginning of time and to quote Doctor Who “Times change and so must we.” Think about it when you ask Johnny to cut the grass and offering him 20 bucks to use his riding lawn mower instead of you spending 2 or 3 hours doing it. You’re phasing out old technology and out sourcing you’re lawn care.

If it took johnny 2 to 3 hours he would charge you more than $20, but because of his riding lawn mower,  in 10-15 minutes he can cut your grass.  So in an hour johnny can cut 4-6 yards, make $80-$120 per hour.  That’s what we have to do with our businesses, let people that specialize in certain things, use technology and save you a bunch of time and in turn and bunch of money.

Don’t fear the future or the unknown…. Embrace it!

Think about when the television was invented people on radio thought they did their jobs are being taken by the new industry. The trick is to always be innovating and stay ahead of the curb.  Outsourcing is a way that people that can’t afford employees full time are you in part time have a way to get test done for cheaper. I can create a logo myself but it will take me a week or I can pay somebody $25 dollars on Craigslist to do it. Instead of spending a week to do something I can allow somebody else to do it in 3 hours. In a week I may be able to do 10 projects worth 500 dollars apiece. So if I created this logo myself it’s actually cost me $5000.  You might not be comfortable running a social media campaign or as good as someone under 30. But in 2015 social media is a necessity for any business.  Don’t get left behind outsource it.
