How 2015 Auto Show Drive Traffic to my Website

fordGTEvery year more than 1 million people go to the Chicago Auto Show.  It is the biggest auto show in America.  At some point it will become a trending topic on Twitter during the Auto Show’s weekend opening.  As a blogger I’m going to capitalize on some of that attention and drive some of that 2015 auto show traffic to my website.  And how will I do that?  By doing what I’m doing right now, by blogging about it.  People will be searching for parking arrangements, searching for event times, and searching for general questions to be answered during the week of the Auto Show and weeks after to see content form the 2015 Auto Show.  I’ll be sure to take video cameras, still cameras, sound recordings ,the whole shebang to capture as much content as I can.  Now I always suggest writing about content that you’re passionate about and you love, and I love me some cars. The Auto Show is naturally going to be a trending topic online for the week before, the weeks during, and weeks after the 2015 Auto Show.  Its always good to schedule content I wrote this article months ago, but I’ll post this up a week before the Auto Show. That’s when it will be the most relevant.

I know if I get a picture the new Ford GT, I’m going to get at least 200 likes on Instagram because its already a trending topic and is popular. That being the case I’m going to make sure I get a high quality shot of it. I also know that I’ll have weeks and weeks of content if I spread out the post and schedule them ahead of time. Whether it be my blog, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.  So instead of putting 15 pictures up in one or two days of the Auto Show I’ll make a posting schedule and that will give me a chance to see which effective on which day and what platform.  If I write a blog post about the Ford GT and I see I get 10,000 views in a week, I’m going to write one about the Ferrari. On the other hand if I see that I put up a picture of the Ford GT on Instagram and only get 50 likes, now I know to go about it differently.
