C2E2 2015 Chicago Comic Con

The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo or C2E2 as the fans call it. Was held in McCormick Place on April 24th through the 26th. Since there is no, Comic Con in Chicago this is the closest event to it and it’s put on by the same people who put on the massive Comic Con in San Diego. Over 30,000 people went to this event and it was packed on all three days. It’s set up like any other trade show in McCormick Place, only there is panels, exhibitions, meet and greets. And most importantly they actually sell comics at C2E2. So if you want to complete your collection, expanded, or start it, this is a great place to find rare collectibles. I just got my normal share of Marvel and DC t-shirts. Then I saw somebody had a life size war Darlek from Doctor Who. It look so realistic after asking about it was from the actual Doctor Who set and worth about $10,000.

I got to meet some of the cast from the Walking Dead. And Mr.Marvel himself Stan Lee was there on a panel on Sunday. Unfortunately, I found out on the very last day on Sunday afternoon. I immediately grabbed my camera in headed to McCormick Place. You can see the gallery below I got some pretty good shots of cosplay. Above this article you can see a recap video of C2E2. I wish I actually knew about this event prior to it so I could have gotten a press pass. Next year I will definitely be there and I will be backstage and I will be getting you guys interviews.
